About PrimumCare
A modern GP practice in Sligo
PrimumCare is a GP practice in Sligo providing patient-centred healthcare across all areas of general practice. We welcome both medical card and private patients, treating everyone with the same attention and care, offering appointments for everyday health concerns as well as the management of more complex or long-term conditions. Our aim is to provide accessible, thoughtful support in a setting where patients feel comfortable discussing their health. General practice often involves caring for people through many stages of life, and we value building lasting relationships with patients and families in the Sligo community.

The name of the practice is based on the Hippocratic Oath “primum non nocere” = which translates to “first, do no harm”. At PrimumCare, we are committed to first, caring for each member of our team, the patients and communities we serve.

We hope to grow our team to include another doctor within 2026 as well as nursing and administrative staff.
